Walking dogs on Rover can be quite the adventure, let me tell you. You never know who you're going to meet or what kind of energy they'll bring to the walk. Take Cinco, for example. He's a 1 ½ year Pitbull with enough energy to power a small city. I swear, that dog could run a marathon and still have energy left over to play fetch. I was walking him about twice a week early in the morning, and he did not care that it was 30 degrees outside, he just wanted to go for a walk.
And then there are Cooper and Stella, the two lovebird Beagles who love to sniff every blade of grass in sight. They’re so cute with their floppy ears and wagging tails, but boy do they take their sweet time on walks. I’m pretty sure we’ve never made it more than a block without stopping for a good sniff session.
But my personal favorite has to be Lucas, the great Cane Corso. He's over 100 pounds of pure muscle, but he's also the biggest sweetheart you'll ever meet. He loves nothing more than a good belly rub and his favorite chew toy. I get the privilege to hang out with the big fella when his owner is out of town or needs him walked. If Lucas really wanted to, he could easily drag me along for his walk at will, but I’m very thankful he lets me lead.
Then there's Coco, the 84-pound Labrador retriever. I sometimes dog sit her at my house and let me tell you, she is the queen of relaxation. All she wants to do is nap and eat, and who can blame her? It's a dog's life, after all. I think she thinks my house is a vacation home, which I am totally okay with. She is the easiest dog I have ever watched.
Ah, Ruby. She's a dog like no other. A mix of who-knows-what, but let me tell you, she's got more energy than a toddler who just downed a bottle of Mountain Dew. Every time I show up to walk her, she greets me at the door with her tail wagging so hard it's like a windshield wiper. This dog is filled with so much love, she just seems to always be in a happy mood. We should all learn to be happier, like Ruby.

But it's not all fun and games. Sometimes I dog sit while the owners are out of town or at work. It's a big responsibility, but it's also a lot of fun and very rewarding. It's like having a houseful of furry friends to keep you company.
All in all, walking dogs on Rover is an adventure. You never know who you're going to meet or what kind of energy they'll bring to the table. But one thing's for sure, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
So, if you're ever in need of a dog walker or sitter, hit me up on Rover. I'll walk your dog, no matter how big or small, lazy or energetic. And who knows, maybe your dog will be my next great adventure.
