Frappe, I had never heard of a dog named that until I got a booking from Rover, to walk this 4lb Toy Poodle named Frappe. On this particular night, it was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit and mildly windy. The booking was for a 30-minute walk but under these conditions I figured I would walk her for about 15 minutes and see how she reacted. When I arrived, I was greeted by Frappe's owner and this small pink ball of fur. Frappe was wearing this puffy, pink poodle size turtleneck jacket. Attached to her collar was a retractable pink leash. I remember thinking; how can she move in that? As I walked down the 2 flights of stairs from the apartment, Frappe was trying to wiggle herself out of my hands, as soon as we got to the grass, I put her down and she just started running in circles like she had never been free before. This little poodle had so much energy that she couldn't keep still on our walk. When we got to a more open area, I released her leash, and she ran back and forth. There were some small sticks on the ground, so I played fetch with her, and she seemed to catch on to the concept fairly quickly. I had walked many dogs before, but none that looked as fly as Frappe. Now, when I go to pick her up for our walks, she gets very excited as soon as she sees me. The picture above was probably one of the very few times she sat still. It was really hard to get a picture of her. All the pictures were coming out blurry. I honestly felt like I was using one of those one-time use cameras. Now either my camera sucks or that little dog is just as fast as the speed of light. Either way, next time I walk her I will try and capture her whole face.
